• Build Query : You have the option to select the data source (post, custom post, page, etc.), the amount of items, and the order by; following that, you can filter the results by category, tags, and more.
  
• Choose data source :Choose which post categories the posts will be populated from. Note that if you do not select a post category, WordPress will use the value “Post” as its default setting.
• Post Count : How many teasers to show? Enter number or word “All”.
• Order By : Select how to sort retrieved posts. More at WordPress codex page
• Categories : Filter output by posts categories, enter category names here.
• Tags : Filter output by posts tags, enter tag names here.
• Taxonomies : Filter output using the categories of the custom taxonomies; category titles should be entered here.
• Individual Posts/Pages/Custom Post Types : Only the posts and pages that have been submitted will be included in the output. Note that this feature only works in combination with certain “Post types.”
