Through the use of cross-sells and upsells, you can both increase revenue and keep existing customers.
Cross-selling
When you engage in cross-selling, you make product recommendations to your customers for additional items that are complementary to the items they have already placed in their purchasing cart. On the screen where you check out, you’ll see recommendations for additional products to cross-sell.
Upselling
Upselling is the practice of recommending to a customer other products that are comparable but have a slightly higher value than what they are presently viewing, such as a bundle or package that also includes the product in question. On the page for each particular product, upsells will be displayed.
Custom headings
You should customize the headlines that appear above your upsells and cross-sells to make them more appealing. A generic heading can be configured if necessary in the event that the custom heading is rendered irrelevant as a result of the activation of numerous cross-sells during the checkout process.
Reporting
A summary of the total number of sales and revenues for each product will provide you with the information you need to evaluate the effectiveness of your cross-sells and upsells.
Enhanced payment details
You can find out precisely which products that were purchased were cross-sells and which were upsells by viewing the details of a particular payment.
Exporting
