It is essential to have the ability to communicate directly with one’s customers. This is made far less difficult via EDD Message. With the use of this extension, store owners are given the ability to communicate with their consumers straight from within their dashboard.

Send customers unique, direct messages
The customer page in the dashboard has been expanded to include a new view, which allows for the creation and delivery of a personalised, one-of-a-kind message to the customer.
Attachments can be included to messages that are sent to customers and suppliers from the dashboard. This allows you to transmit files to clients in a way that is both rapid and convenient. EDD Message also works with our Amazon S3 extension, which enables users to pick files from their Amazon S3 buckets and use those files as attachments in EDD Message messages.
Log all unique messages sent to customers
You will always have access to a history of the messages you’ve exchanged with EDD Message, which you can use for research purposes. Messages that have been delivered to a particular customer are displayed on the Message view for that customer, and a table containing all of the logged messages can be found under the Reports menu option and selecting Logs.
Support for Frontend Submissions
This enhancement will be of even greater benefit to those who use Frontend Submissions. Not only has EDD Message been developed to be fully compatible with Frontend Submissions, but it was also built with the intention of allowing marketplace store owners to improve their level of communication with vendors and to enable sellers the option to message their own consumers.

When viewing a vendor in the dashboard, there is now a new view available that includes the ability to directly message the vendor.
Allow vendors to message customers directly
EDD Message does much more than simply facilitate improved two-way communication between business owners and their consumers. In addition, a messaging form is provided to vendors for the purpose of sending personalised emails to clients who have purchased their wares.
View logged emails
Are you interested in maintaining a log of the emails that have been sent through your online shop? You can choose which kinds of messages should be saved as a record by using the settings that come with EDD Message. When any of these settings is activated, a log of all messages of the chosen type will be saved and made available for you to see whenever you like in the future. These various forms of messages include:
- Administrator to either the clients or the suppliers
- Purchase receipts
- Vendor messaging to customers (needs Frontend Submissions)
- Customer messages to merchants (needs Frontend Submissions)
