Support for bots: Pinterest Automatic may pin content created by bots, such as those created by WordPress Automatic. It can pin the post’s featured image, a certain number of images, or all of the posts’ images.

Support for images in custom fields: If you have an image URL saved in a custom field, you can instruct the plugin to pin the picture from that custom field.

Pinterest Automatic can still find your images to pin even if they aren’t on the backend. For instance, a shortcode in the backend is used to display some galleries.
