WOOCOMMERCE SHIPPING TRAKING
Your customers can simply track their orders with WCST. Every order will have a shipping company and a tracking number associated with it. The “Complete Order” email and “View Order” page from WCST will both directly provide tracking information (Company URL and tracking code). Your customers may easily track their orders by clicking on the URL created by WCST. The tracking URL will (where possible, if the business permits it) instantly redirect to the business’s website, where users can track the status of their orders in accordance with the accompanying tracking codes.
HOW TO AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE THE PLUGIN
Install and set up the Envato updater plugin at httpss://goo.gl/pkJS33 to receive automatic updates. The official tutorial that explains how to set it up is located at httpss://envato.com/market-plugin.
DEFINE YOUR OWN COMPANIES
More than 40 shipping businesses have been defined by WCST. Don’t you locate the right one? Not to worry! By adding it to the WooCommerce -> Shipping tracking -> Add Custom company page, you may define your own unique shipping firms (Name and Tracking URL) using WCST.
MULTIPLE TRACKING CODE, SHIPPING COMPANIES, DISPATCH DATES AND CUSTOM TEXT
You can link one or more tracking numbers and delivery providers to each order using WCST. A dispatch date and custom text can also be provided for each shipping. The shop manager and the buyer can easily keep track of the shipment times in this way!
CUSTOMIZE EMAIL AND ORDER DETAILS HTML SNIPPET
Would you like to change the HTML snippet displayed on the Order details page and email template? It is doable! From the admin menu, you may directly customise templates.
TRACK SHIPMENT PROGRESS STATUS WITH A TIMELINE IN SITE
The Shipping Tracking plugin enables direct on-site display of the shipment progress status and timeframe. Use the [track shipping in site] shortcode inside the Order details message from the special menu to accomplish this.
When finished, every Order details page will display a tracking info widget detailing each step the package has taken up to the present day!
You have the option to display the “track in site” widget on any page. Simply use the shortcode [wcst tracking form track in site=”true”] with the specific “track in site” argument to accomplish this. Once the user has supplied a tracking code, a form will be generated and the “track in site” widget will indicate the status of the shipment.
Note: The AfterShip will attempt to identify the shipping firm using only the tracking code; but, in rare circumstances, this process may not succeed. Simply enter the company slug as follows: company slug###tracking code to prevent detection.
For instance, dhl###28592021
The URL for the tracking business is https://www.aftership.com/couriers. Simply select the appropriate link; the slug is located in the url after the /curriers/ string.
Note that the AfterShip service is what powers this feature. Accessing its API requires at least a pro profile. The plugin settings page provides instructions on how to connect to the AfterShip profile (it just takes two steps!). Without the need for another code, the service will automatically identify the carrier from the tracking code (if supported).
TRACKING INFO ON ALL OUTGOING WOOCOMMERCE EMAILS AND ORDER DETAILS PAGE
The order details page will show all the information once the tracking information has been stored on the order admin page. Additionally, information about the order status will be included in every woocommerce emails that are sent out. By default, tracking information is only sent in emails when the status is “finished,” but you have the option to include information for other states as well. To select which status(es) the information must be embedded within the emails for, go to the General settings menu.
Additionally, you can define unique statuses!
The client can have all the necessary information at his fingertips in this way!
EMAIL NOTIFICATION FOR SELECTED TRACKING CODES
By simply choosing the tracking code for which he wishes to notify the user, the administrator can also send active notification emails. Once chosen, all he needs to do is click the Order update button, and the plugin will email him the chosen tracking codes. The special options menu can be used to modify the tracking code email templates. In order to personalise the message, you can also use a shortcode to show the user’s first and last name!
GERMANIZED PRO INVOICE EMAIL
Due to the plugin’s support for Germanized pro invoice emails, tracking information can be added to invoice emails based on the state of the current order.
DATE AND TIME DELIVERY FIELDS
Would you prefer to let your client choose a delivery date and window of time?
you can now!
The user can pick a start date, finish date, start time, and (optionally) another time range when he would like to receive the things when you enable some extra fields in WCST (visible on the checkout and/or order details page)! The label, title, and description are all completely editable. Support for multiple languages!
Furthermore, WooCommerce emails provide delivery dates and times!
Last but not least, the selectable date on the checkout page will take into account both the projected shipping and delivery times for both the product and the chosen shipping type!
AUTOMATIC BULK IMPORT
The plugin has an extra setting that allows you to configure it to automatically import Order shipment tracking from a URL that points to a.csv file. Only the.csv file URL path (such as a Dropbox file link, an HTTPS URL, etc.) needs to be entered, along with the bulk import job time interval!
NOTE: The WordPress function wp schedule event is used for scheduling tasks (). It will ONLY start the scheduled import process if someone visits your WordPress website at the designated period. wp schedule event reference page has further information.
MULTILANGUAGE CUSTOM MESSAGES
The shop administrator can define HTML Snippets for any language installed thanks to WCST’s support for WPML.
The store administrator merely needs to choose the desired language from the WPML selector, type the message, and hit save to add a message for that language.
QUICK ASSIGN MENU
By using the “Quick assign” feature, the shop administrator can now quickly allocate shipping information to an order without amending any individual orders. With just a few clicks, you can assign shipping information to an order, change its status, and, if desired, resend the customer a status email!
FAVORITE SHIPPING COMPANY
On the preferences menu, you can optionally choose a “preferred” shipping business. During the submission of the tracking code, this will be preselected.
DELIVERY ESTIMATION FOR SHIPPING RATES
You can specify a delivery estimate for each shipping rate set up using WooCommerce’s built-in features, Table Rate Shipping for WooCommerce, or Table Rate Shipping by WooThemes.
AUTOMATIC SHIPPING ESTIMATION FOR PRODUCT
Estimated shipping dates are another another useful feature of the WCST plugin (shipping date: the date on which the package is delivered to the courier). The estimated shipment date can be displayed on product pages by the shop admin by using a shortcode or by selecting the automatic estimated date display option (in the plugin options menu). Based on the “Estimation rule” that corresponds to that product, this is automatically determined. The plugin has the ability to display both a single shipment date and a range of dates when the product will be displayed.
Additionally, if the item is out of stock, the estimated delivery date won’t be shown!
Following each item displayed in the product table, estimated dates can optionally be presented on the Cart/Checkout pages. To begin, simply enable the unique option found in the plugin preferences menu.
Last but not least, you can set up a personalised label (translatable with WPML) to appear before the anticipated date!
What is the process? It’s quite easy! There are only two things left to do:
AFTERSHIP AND TRACKINGMORE TRACKING URL SUPPORT
Enable the “Aftership service” or “TrackingMore” option after creating a bespoke company. Using the Aftership/TrackingMore service and the tracking code added to the order page, the plugin will automatically produce the tracking URL! (Note: The normal track.aftership.com and track.trackingmore.com URLs are utilised. Verify that Aftership/TrackingMore supports the shipping provider you are using.)
AUTOFOCUS ON TRACKING INPUT FIELD AND SEARCH BY TRACKING CODE AND SHIPPING COMPANY NAME
When updating the order page, the option to enable autofocus on the primary tracking code input box is available. The use of bar code scanners may benefit from this (Note: Some 3rd party plugins could break this feature).
Additionally, the plugin enables the shop administrator to search orders by tracking numbers and shipping providers using the pre-existing “Search Order” input box on the WooCommerce orders page!
FILTER BY SHIPPING COMPANY
The orders table now has a dropdown box menu added by WCST that enables the admin to filter orders by firm.
