MemberPress Amazon Web Services (AWS)
The Amazon AWS S3 service is widely regarded as the best cloud storage solution available. It offers a relatively inexpensive method of storing your resources in the cloud. It grants you the ability to host files, generate links to files stored there that expire after a certain amount of time, embed audio and video files, and prevent those files from being downloaded.
You will be able to host private files on Amazon S3 with the help of the MemberPress AWS Add-on, and you will be able to offer registered users links to individual files that will expire after a certain amount of time. You can also simply embed video and audio files on your WordPress pages and posts by using the open source Media Element Player (it works on desktop and mobile browsers), and you can restrict access to these files for users who are not members of your site.
The MemberPress Amazon Add-On will provide you with the ability to, among other things:
- Host private information on Amazon S3
- Offer connections that will expire based on registered members, in addition to access based on individual files, if possible.
- Using the initial supply Media Element Player, you can embed video and audio archives into your WordPress pages and articles (works between Desktop and Mobile browsers)
- Protect your embedded audio and video files from being viewed by people who are not participants of your site.
