WooCommerce Google Product Feed
A real-time feed that supplies product information to Google Merchant Center is a need for setting up Product Ads. The Google Product Feed extension makes it possible for you to construct such a feed.
Why use this?
- Extensive list of areas that are supported, each of which supplies Google with the richest data available, hence maximising the effectiveness of the campaign.
- Imports product data to Google Merchant Center while giving you complete control over how your advertisements are set up and how much money you spend
- Don’t rely on the restricted auto-mappings available; instead, take use of the fact that you have full control over mappings, which enables you to map your existing product data into Google’s needed fields using the taxonomies, attributes, or product fields on your website.
- Using the additional data entry forms provided by the plugin, you can collect data required by Google that is not generally held in WooCommerce.
- The burden of data entering can be eased by establishing global store-wide defaults. For more granular control, provide values to categories; alternatively, if necessary, offer product-specific information in relation to certain goods or variations.
- Complete support for the WooCommerce importer as well as the REST API for importing data in bulk
- A feed that updates in real time displays the most recent information about your products.
- Compatible with a variety of WooCommerce add-ons and extensions
- Extensive documentation that addresses configuration and personalization.
- A comprehensive collection of WordPress filters and actions that enable flexible personalization, if it’s required.
Once your items have been imported into Google Merchant Centre, they will be available in the Google Adwords account that is linked to your Google Merchant Centre account. This will provide you the ability to build up product adverts in whatever manner you see fit. You have complete command over the way your advertisements are built up as well as the funds you allocate to them when you make use of Google Adwords in its entirety.
Product data fields
More than fifty feed properties, including all required fields, are supported by the extension. You won’t have to worry about manually filling in simple fields like link, title, or image_link because those will all be done for you automatically. Other fields offer a straightforward mapping that can be completed with just one click, enabling you to map all of your product fields onto the feed. You are able to give defaults at the store level or the category level, and the feed will automatically select the appropriate values to include.
This plugin will provide you the ability to enter richer product data by providing custom fields on your items in areas where you don’t already have data. All of these fields can be imported using the default WooCommerce CSV import tool, and they are also accessible through the WooCommerce REST API.
Fields currently supported include:
- Core fields: availability, condition, description (primary product short/long, variant description or both), and pricing are all important factors. ID, image links (including featured images, product gallery images , embedded content images, and support for custom images), link, price, sale price (including effective date), title (including ability to provide custom titles), abbreviated title
- Rich data fields: the adult content flag, the age group, the brand, the color, the consumer datasheet, the consumer notice, the energy efficiency class (including min/max), the energy label, the gender, the google product category, the GTIN, the material, the MPN, the pattern, the product detail, the product highlights, the product type, the shipping label, the size, the size system, the size type, the tax category, and the transit time label are some of the fields.
- Advanced fields: is_bundle, unit price measure and base measure, multipack, instalments, identifier exists flag, adwords grouping filter, minimum/maximum handling time, cost of products sold, included/excluded destination, availability date, promotion ID, and custom labels, ships from country; these are some of the parameters that can be customised.
- Shopping actions-specific fields: eligibility for a google-funded campaign, product fee, purchase quantity restriction, return address label, return policy label, sell on google quantity, shopping ads country exclusion, etc.
- Local-inventory-specific fields: pickup method, pickup SLA
Product review feeds
The plugin offers a Google Product Review feed in addition to the regular product feed. This feed combines with WooCommerce’s built-in review system to provide a feed of product reviews that Google can cross-link to your products in order to provide more attractive product advertising that include product ratings.
There is the potential for these ratings to display as star ratings on Shopping adverts and, in some cases, on product listings on Google. Customers can get assistance with their buying selections from these ratings, which will bring more customers who are qualified to your product pages.
Full feeds, incremental weekly feeds, and daily feeds are all made available by the extension. Review data is immediately linked with your product feed data to enable Google to match reviews to products. You have the flexibility to omit reviews from the feed if necessary to comply with Google’s regulations, and review data is automatically linked with product feed data.
