WooCommerce Mix and Match Products
While you determine the size limit of the assortment (the number of items that are required to “complete” a container or pack), your customer maintains complete control over the quantity of the individual products that are being packaged together. You set the size limit of the assortment (the number of items that are required to “complete” a container or pack).
Don’t like sugar donuts? If a customer like, she can ask for her dozen to be made up entirely of Boston cremes. Want to buy five t-shirts, but you think yellow isn’t your colour? A consumer may purchase two blue and three red items. The option is totally up to the individual who is making the purchase!
Features
Flexible Contents
Mix and Match enables the sale of both straightforward items and variants of those products as component parts of a container. In any particular Mix & Match assortment, you are free to make as many or as few of the individual goods available to customers as you see fit.
Flexible Pricing
Mix & Match assortments may have a fixed price, or their prices may be calculated on an individual basis and added together.
Flexible Shipping
You have the option of shipping Mix and Match assortments all together in one package, shipping them individually, or not shipping them at all.
Inventory Management
The inventory of products sold as part of the Mix and Match selection is controlled in the same manner as that of products sold separately, and the Mix and Match product container itself may also be subject to stock management.
Customizable Templates
After being configured, a Mix and Match product has a visual appearance that is comparable to that of a grouped product. Customers are shown with a list of all items that are on offer and given the freedom to construct their order using any combination of those products.
As with the rest of WooCommerce, each individual section of the table, as well as the table itself, may be personalised by means of template overrides.
