The following pages will be visible on the AMP site:
- The shop page
- product pages
- product category and tag pages
- cart page
Please keep in mind that the checkout and account pages cannot be included in the AMP version due to AMP Project restrictions. When your users click ‘checkout,’ they will be redirected to the normal version of your site.
Including advertisements on your mobile website
AdSense enables you to place ad blocks on your website and pays you for each visitor who clicks on the ad. As visitors to your website click on the ads, money begins to flow in. You can integrate AdSense into your AMP website and position the ad block using our plugin.
Putting the ads at the top will get you more clicks, but it may ruin the look of your website. Placing the ads at the bottom will not ruin the look of your website, but it will likely result in fewer clicks.
You can also use our plugin to insert ads into post content by using the shortcode ‘[wp-amp-ad]’.

Page builders are supported.
Breadcrumbs were frequently requested by users of various wysiwyg page builders. Due to AMP standard restrictions — some html tags, inline css, and custom js are not allowed — there is no way to provide full support for them. And these WordPress wysiwyg page builders generate a lot of html and inline css that cannot be displayed or validated on AMP pages.
As a result, we’ve added the ability to override content for each individual post/page. If your desktop version of the site has a complex layout and you want to have the same page on AMP, you can create a simple code-free version of text, images, videos, and general formatting that will be shown only to AMP users.
You can also disable the generation of AMP versions for any post or page if necessary.
Page builder built-in
Using the built-in drag-and-drop page builder, our plugin allows you to enable, disable, modify, and rearrange AMP blocks. Page builder is compatible with posts, pages, archives, blog pages, search pages, 404 pages, and WooCommerce pages. See the plugin screenshots for more information.
