What are Custom Post Types

The only difference between a custom post type and a default post is that the latter has one set of parameters specified, while the latter has another set. It is likely that you have been able to view Products, Testimonials, Features, Projects, or other items of a similar nature in your WordPress Sites and have considered that it would be awesome if you could manage these from your MainWP Dashboard.
